Loaves of Love
It started with
a single loaf.
Marc learned to bake at Michalski Bakery, his family's shop on the south side of Chicago, open since the late 1910s. Baking ran in the family, and now, so does firefighting — his cousin Joe became a firefighter. So Marc started bringing loaves to the crews who feed each other between calls.
Every station has a kitchen. Every kitchen needs a loaf. Every loaf is a bridge.
